Of course some financial help is still needed. For WDP this help exclusively comes from donations. Such a donation, for the maintenance and the working of the Temple and for taking care of the monks, gives a very special merit to a Buddhist. The Supporting Members who wish to do so can choose - they are completely free because there exists no merit in an obligation - to yearly make a donation of 25 € (called the "contribution" and fixed by the Board of Directors).

You can donate that contribution in the Temple or via the bank account:

The transfer or deposit to the bank account must (for the bookkeeping !) have the mention:

"Bijdrage" + the year + surname and first name of the member (or the member number)

Do not mention "lidgeld" or "membership fee" or "donation" or something similar.
